F.A.Q's on Cable Mills

As you can tell, we are delighted to be moving forward with construction and cannot wait to provide you all with tours of the property once we get through this winter. Many of you already know what makes Cable Mills special -- having out your door the natural beauty of the Green River and surrounding mountains, Spring Street shops, Williams College, and the amazing arts and culture of MassMOCA and the Clark Art Gallery.

Through our newsletter and our blog are excited to show off the beautifully restored features of the building as we make progress on construction. The windows are huge, and ceilings 12 - 14 feet will make for light-filled functional, unique, and beautiful living spaces.

In response to some of the questions you've asked, we've developed the following FAQ's and if you have additional questions, don't hesitate to contact Kevin White via e-mail or phone and we'll get you the answers you need.

Q: Are the lofts for-sale or for-rent? 
A: The lofts will be for-rent for five years beyond completion of construction. In the future, some or all of the lofts may become available for sale, and occupants at that time would be provided an exclusive preview period.

Q: When will the property be ready for occupancy?
A: This coming winter '15/'16, and as the project progresses, we will provide updates on more exact timing.

Q: What is the pricing?
A: The pricing will be set in the late spring/early summer of 2015 and your subscription to this newsletter and the blog will provide you with the links and information when it is available.  Loft plans and applications will be posted at that time on the website.

Q: What types of layouts are being offered?
A: There are one-bedroom, two-bedroom, and three-bedroom lofts with unique and well-designed floorplans that feature exposed brick, large windows, and some amazing views on the upper floors. Some lofts are one-level flats, some are two-level with a mezzanine sleeping loft, and others are townhouse style with a direct entry to the outside. 

Q: What property amenities are being offered?
A: A riverwalk along the Green River, fitness room with new, state-of-the-art cardio and strength training equipment, a community room for larger family gatherings with kitchenette, a dog grooming station, additional storage, and professional on-site property management. We should also mention that Williamstown residents are able to utilize Williams College facilities.
