Cable Mills

Design: Affordability

Photo

Twelve of the homes being built in the main mill building at Cable Mills will be priced at levels affordable to individuals and families earning 80% of the area median income for Berkshire County. These affordable homes are made possible in part by funding and support provided by the Town of Williamstown, the Massachusetts Department of Housing and Community Development, and the Commonwealth of Massachusetts Affordable Housing Trust Fund.

When Cable Mills is close to completion, extensive advertising will be done to notify the public of the availability of these affordable homes and instructing interested persons how to apply. A lottery will be conducted among prescreened, eligible buyers to determine who will be able to purchase the deed restricted, affordable homes being built.

If you would like to receive information on the affordable homes at Cable Mills, please provide your name and contact information through the Contact section of our website, being sure to note that you are interested in affordable units. We’ll then keep in touch with news about Cable Mills in general and the affordable homes in particular.
